This Cookie Policy describes how Kaitier LLC ("Kaitier") uses cookies and similar browser technologies on its public website and authenticated browser software.
Read this policy together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Kaitier also uses similar technologies such as local storage and session storage to remember settings or temporary in-tab state.
Normal downloaded assets (such as stylesheets, scripts, and images) are not described here as behavioral tracking technologies.
Public marketing and legal pages are served at kaitier.com (and kaitier.localhost during local preview).
The complete authenticated Kaitier browser software is served at app.kaitier.com (and app.kaitier.localhost during local preview). It is not a separate mobile app.
Staging and local development environments are for testing only and are not customer production services. Cookie names and domains may differ in those environments.
Strictly necessary cookies and storage are used to: keep you signed in; protect forms with CSRF tokens; prevent abuse and bots on protected signup forms; remember your cookie preference; deliver core application functionality; and support essential UI state such as sidebar layout.
These technologies generally cannot be disabled through Kaitier's preference center without breaking sign-in, security, or core features. You may still block them in your browser settings, but parts of Kaitier may stop working.
Kaitier uses first-party browser storage for interface preferences such as sidebar collapse state, chart display options, and dismissal of the optional marketing-site app prompt banner.
These preferences are not used for cross-site advertising or behavioral profiling.
Kaitier does not currently use optional analytics cookies or similar analytics identifiers in production.
If Kaitier later adds analytics, it will update this inventory, implement consent controls where required, update the Privacy Policy and Subprocessor List as needed, and obtain Joseph's approval before activation.
Kaitier does not currently use advertising, retargeting, cross-site tracking, or marketing cookies.
The optional marketing-site app prompt banner uses local storage only to remember dismissal; it is not an advertising cookie.
Some features load third-party browser technologies when you use them. Examples include Cloudflare Turnstile on protected signup forms, Stripe during checkout or client payment flows, Plaid Link during bank connection, and Google or Microsoft during email OAuth.
Those providers may set their own cookies or storage on their domains or embedded experiences under their own policies.
Server-to-server providers such as OpenAI and Resend do not set browser cookies on Kaitier pages through ordinary use of those backend features.

You can review or reset your cookie choice on Cookie preferences. The first-visit banner lets you accept necessary cookies and continue.
You can also use your browser settings to delete or block cookies and site data. Clearing cookies does not delete your Kaitier account or financial records stored on Kaitier's servers.
Kaitier does not sell personal information and does not use cross-context behavioral advertising cookies.
Kaitier does not currently process Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing because Kaitier does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Kaitier does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because that mechanism is not implemented or verified in the current product.
This section should be reviewed with qualified privacy counsel based on Kaitier's actual practices and user locations.
Each item in the inventory is kept for the duration shown in the table or until you log out, reset cookie preferences, or clear browser data, whichever happens first.
Account and financial record retention is governed by our Data Retention & Deletion Policy, not by clearing browser cookies alone.
Kaitier may update this policy when browser technologies, providers, or legal requirements change.
Material changes should receive a new version and effective date and any notice required by the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, or applicable law.
