Rules for using Kaitier responsibly — including financial records, integrations, payments, team access, automation, and AI features.

This Acceptable Use Policy describes rules for using Kaitier's websites, authenticated browser software, services, integrations, uploads, AI features, and related systems.
It supplements the Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this policy and the Terms, the Terms govern unless the Terms expressly state otherwise.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that people you authorize — including team members, employees, contractors, or accountants you invite — follow this policy.
You may not use Kaitier to violate applicable law or another person's legal rights.
Examples include using Kaitier in connection with fraud, theft, money laundering, sanctions evasion, tax evasion, deceptive commercial practices, or other unlawful financial activity.
Kaitier does not independently determine whether a user has committed a crime. Investigations and legal conclusions belong to competent authorities and qualified professionals.
You may not intentionally use Kaitier to create, alter, or submit false receipts, invoices, expenses, income records, or supporting documents; misrepresent a transaction, customer, vendor, payment, tax item, or business activity; duplicate, conceal, or manipulate records to deceive another person, business, financial institution, auditor, tax authority, or government agency; request or collect payment for fraudulent, unlawful, or nonexistent goods or services; or falsify reimbursement or employee-expense claims.
Honest corrections, estimates, drafts, categorization changes, and ordinary bookkeeping mistakes that you fix in good faith are not prohibited merely because information was incomplete, estimated, or later updated.
You must have the necessary permission and lawful basis to upload, import, scan, connect, store, or process information through Kaitier.
You may not connect an email, bank, Stripe, Square, or other account without authorization; upload confidential, personal, or financial information you have no right to process; violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property, or contractual rights; use Kaitier to improperly collect or expose passwords, authentication codes, full payment-card credentials, or other secrets; or share login credentials in ways prohibited by the Terms or bypass proper team access controls.
You may not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or networks; bypass authentication, permissions, feature restrictions, rate limits, or security controls; introduce malware, ransomware, destructive code, or harmful files; scan, probe, or test Kaitier for vulnerabilities without written authorization from Kaitier; scrape, crawl, or use automated requests in a way that disrupts Kaitier or violates documented limits; overload, interfere with, or degrade Kaitier or its providers; reverse engineer or extract protected source code except where applicable law expressly permits it; use stolen credentials, tokens, or API keys; or help another person perform these activities.

When you use payment or data integrations through Kaitier — including Stripe, Square, Plaid, Gmail, Outlook, or similar providers — you may not submit fraudulent charges, invoices, refunds, or payment requests; test stolen cards or payment credentials; use connected accounts you do not own or have authority to manage; circumvent provider rules, identity verification, risk controls, or account restrictions; use Kaitier to disguise the source, ownership, or purpose of funds; or interfere with provider OAuth, webhooks, or connected-account operations.
You must also follow the applicable provider's terms when using that provider through Kaitier.
Kaitier's subscription billing is processed through Stripe Checkout. Where Get Paid or client payment links are offered, card payments are handled by the payment provider — Kaitier does not hold customer funds in a Kaitier-operated bank account as part of the current product architecture.
You may not use Kaitier to impersonate another person or business; deceive customers, employees, contractors, vendors, or other users; harass, threaten, exploit, or unlawfully discriminate against another person; distribute illegal, exploitative, or malicious material; facilitate scams, phishing, spam, or deceptive communications; or infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
This section is intended to address realistic misuse of Kaitier's financial and collaboration features — not to impose a separate social-media conduct code on ordinary business use.
You may not use Kaitier's AI or automation to generate or support fraudulent financial records or deceptive claims; circumvent safeguards or usage limits; attempt to extract system prompts, credentials, private data, or information belonging to other users; upload malicious instructions or use prompt injection to interfere with Kaitier or connected systems; represent AI-generated content as having been reviewed or approved by a licensed professional when it was not; or make unlawful high-impact decisions about people.
Ordinary experimentation, correction, and legitimate use of AI assistance are permitted. See our AI & Automation Disclosure for how Kaitier uses automation and AI.
You may not use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated processes that are unauthorized, create unreasonable load, bypass plan limits, or interfere with normal service.
This does not restrict integrations, exports, webhooks, or other features that Kaitier expressly provides or documents for authorized use.
Kaitier does not monitor all user content or transactions and cannot detect every fraudulent or illegal use.
Depending on the seriousness and circumstances, Kaitier may warn a user or request corrective action; restrict a feature or integration; remove or disable prohibited content where applicable; suspend or terminate access; preserve relevant records for security, audit, or legal purposes; cooperate with providers or lawful authorities when legally required; or take emergency action to protect users, Kaitier, or third parties.
Kaitier may act without advance notice when reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, security threats, legal obligations, or imminent harm. Not every violation results in automatic termination.

Kaitier does not currently operate a formal appeals program. You may contact us to request review or provide relevant information about an enforcement decision.
Kaitier may update this policy as services, integrations, and risks evolve.
Material changes should receive a new version and effective date and any notice required by the Terms or applicable law.
